Survey Exchange and OTX are the same thing but operate differently

I'm a member of Survey Exchange and have accumulated about 3,000 points--close to the $5 payout. The surveys were very short and when I didn't qualify they gave me points anyway. However, when I receive a survey from OTX via a third party site like Opinion Place, I used to spend about 15 minutes answering questions and ended up not qualifying--they had all my info like demographics and shopping habits (sometimes very detailed) than shut me out from any reward. That's really strange. You can make money with Survey Exchange/OTX but if you get a survey from OTX via another survey site you get ripped off! I just find it strange that by dealing with them directly, you profit but if it's through another site they steal your information/answers and give you nothing in return. I don't think much of them and once I cash out with Survey Exchange I will probably not do it anymore just because they are stealing from us.

dont know about survey exchange but am familiar with OTX they have taken up my time a couple of times without giving me anything in return. now when i see them, i just ignore it.i dont like surveys for that very reason that 99.99 percent of the time they are for nothing. i do wish i could get into pinecone tho. im still waiting to hear from them. or do you just go to the site? my ex daughter in law used to get money and sample things from them all the time.

I thought you were one of the ones I sent the Pinecone link to, did I miss you? It's invitation only. Let me know if you don't have it and I'll send it to you!

The same thing happens to me, but it goes through quick rewards. I answer all the questions and, like you said after they get tons of answers, they say I don't qualify. I just ignore their non-sense now and do other things on the site.

You would think there would be something someone could do--they're stealing our time and information in what I believe is a fraudulent way. But, like you, I ignore them now except for the few times Global Test Market is used by them. With GTM, they give you 5 points if you don't qualify so I'll go for OTX when GTM presents one.
