Of course not. Look at Real Madrid in Zidane era. They had many great players liked Beckhams, Carlos, Raul & Figo. All other clubs will have fear in their heart when heard of this club. But the fact is great players doesn't necessary form great team. It is very clear by looking at how many trophy have they get...obviously very few. Recently, there are a few clubs still so eagerly to turn into having this kind of situation. For those who live with soccer, absolutely you know are Real Madrid(again) & Manchester City. I believe history has told that money can't make a champion. how you judge?

you are spot on in your assessment that money alone cannot buy you trphies . However, if you are Real Madrid and you are gobbling up one player after the other ,that is bound to impact your team's performance in a positive way . However what is does is that is distorts the level playing field and the smaller teams find it very hard to compete with lesser teams . This season the transfer market is all the more inflated because of Real's activities

I think you are right, Money does not buy the crown, however with money it sure help to give the team a boost. Look at the top four at EPL only Gunners does have have free spending culture. However you might want to look at a few team which spend lots of money and yet did not succeed. like west ham, newcastle and leeds. so don't be too happy if your team is spending too much.

Football is a team sport and it is eleven players on the pitch who play together in an unselfish manner, are passionate about the club's success above individual player's success, know the right time to hold on to the ball and to release the ball, know how to attack proactively and defend excellently, are hungry for success and know how to make the best use of every scoring opportunity that will succeed more in the end. Teams like Real Madrid and Chelsea are not new to experimenting with a "battalion" of world-class players. What do they have to show for their experiments? I feel the output in the end wasn't what the clubs should desire. Well, maybe the experiment is going to work out well next football season; we only need to wait and see. Last season, Barcelona successfully experimented with a team made up of many big names. This implies that a team may be able to profit from an assemblage of "big money" players. However, the failure rate of this experiment over the years is higher than the success rate. So, I have my doubt if it is going to "work" for Real Madrid next football season. I hope it works otherwise the cumulative effect of it's failure may further drag the team down the abyss.
