What's wrong with teen pregnancy?

A lot of girls from my high school had babies. Also, three lot of male friends of mine that went to a different high school became teen fathers. Plenty of these people have not done much with their lives, but those peoples' friends and families didn't either. Others who do have friends and family that did well in school or have good jobs usually also did that, even with a baby. The kids who are going to mess up seem to whether they have a kid or not. So maybe teen pregnancy doesn't mess up your life quite how it is thought to.

Let me clarify your statement: Why should we think that there's something wrong with teen pregnancies where in fact people who didn't go through teen pregnancies don't do well either? Let's put it this way: 1. Experience A causes trouble for people 2. People who didn't have Experience A seems to be having trouble too. 3. Therefore, Experience A is not really much trouble. Does the argument follow from its assumptions?
