Quake and tsunami predicted on 22 July 2009

I got this email from a friend and it actually has been circulated since March. It has been posted on facebook also. I really don't know whether to believe this email or or but it seems believable enough. I already booked a flight ticket to Indonesia on that date and my heart tells me to cancel my holiday because of this news.
Have you ever received this email? Do you believe it and should I?
I don't know who is the original sender because this has been forwarded many times.
It goes like this "Hello there. I just wanted to let you know that please stay away from the beaches all around in the month of July. There is a prediction that there will be another tsunami or earthquake hitting on 22 July 2009. It is also when there will be sun eclipse. Predicted that it is going to be really bad and countries like Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), Singapore, Maldives, Australia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Philippines are going to be badly hit. Please try and stay away from the beaches in July. Better to be safe than sorry. Please pass the word around. Please also pray for all beings."
Now, this email comes with complete explanation of how it will happen. It includes a satellite photo showing the place where the tsunami will start. If you want to see it, I can email it to you.
I am really concern too because my mum and sis live near the beach. Should I be worry or move them??

I wouldnt worry about it,
tsunami is caused by a earth quake out at sea,
as with all earth quakes they can't be predicted that far in advance I personally think it is a goof email and dont worry about it
there was a tsunami yesterday heading for australia according to our news channel but no idea if it actually hit but they cant be predicted 6 days in advance

I hope so nothing bad will happen. It was one long explanation and it seems like it was written by professional. A lot of my friend even already took leave from their work because of this.

The upcoming total solar eclipe is a rare chance to experience in one's life. If not predicted and prepared, animals and human beings will be taken shocked, but the modern science has it explained and preannounced. Most people would keep an eye on the natural event, and some even have booked hotels to have a better view from an ideal position.
As with you mom and sister, you may do as you feel good. A temporary departure from home could be ok for them, just take it as a vacation, why not?

Thank you for the answer. I told my mum about this and as usual, old people won't take things like this seriously. She just said it is nothing to worry about. I hope nothing will happen, I hope this is just a prank or rumor.

What is interesting about this is New Zealand just had a 7.3 quake, which in the news warned of a tsunami for area's around them. So is it true or is it now? That is for you all to decide within yourself.
The thing is these dates are pretty close, and again though how many earth quakes in a day are in the ocean or near an ocean, which any could cause a small or large tsunami. Was it predicted who knows for sure.

I just recently received an email from a friend that has some thing that may interest you. Mars will be passing the closest to earth since it has been recorded. You will be able to see Mars like you would a full moon, from what it says this will be going on through August and the closest it will be is estimated to be August 27th 2009. I wonder what this will do to earth as it passes. Will be something I will be keeping track of.

It was on the news i think about 2 days ago. But nothing happened right?? Because if it did happened then it will be on the news again.
I am not the only person who is worried, my friend even quarreled with one another because the other one didn't believe it at all.. Secretly I am counting days to find out if this is real.
