Hi Mylotters! How far do you go do make yourself feel beautiful? How much do you alter your natural appearance? Do you straighten your curly hair, tan your your fair skin, try to lighten your skin, wax and pluck your hairs, dye your hair.... get your nails done, manicures, pedicures, regular salon visits..... Have you ever had plastic surgery done? Would you? What would you change and why would you change it?

Ironically I had this conversation with my therapist last week my friend regarding plastic surgery, I have considered this a few times because of my low self esteem but I came to the conclusion that with plastic surgery you are only changing the OUTSIDE and not changing or dealing with the INSIDE, so that is not an option for me. I am also, ironically getting my hair highlighted tomorrow in an effort to bolster up my self esteem to make me look good. As a man I do hold my hands up to say that I look after my face and teeth. I moisturize especially after shaving and whenever I go out in the sun I put aftersun on. The barbers I go to also look after my eyebrows and ear hair, yuk! But I am a dab hand with the tweezers. As for my finger nails well I bite them, yes I know, bad habit!

This day and age that sounds fairly low maintenance to me! Good on you for the plastic surgery bit too, not too many people realize that.

Same with the name change too, I can change my name to anything I like but it doesn't change the person who I am inside.

the young padiwan is a wise one! You can not run away from what's inside by disguising the outside or changing a name. Hee hee, when I was 6 years old I asked my parents if I could change my name. I picked out the three prettiest words I could think of for a first, middle, and last name. That's what the FFF stands for. They still laugh at me.....

Hi there and smile. A clean face with sunscreen lotion and pressed powder is already good for me. I just add eyeliner and blush on when i go to office. Nothing more, i just like the simple look. happy mylotting and smile always!

Obviously you need to be attracted to someone, but I have always found that a great personality and sense of humor makes someone that much more attractive :) Don't be self-conscious - the person that loves you for who you are is the one that you want to be with.

Hi there and smile! How far?, i think not so far. I dont go and think of having plastic surgery just to make myself look like a goddess. I am sure that all of us women wants to be beautiful and we always interested to all beauty products out there that promises good results. I am a woman that is hooked on researching natural remedies using natural ingredients such as what we can see around us like veggies and fruits. I am also thinking that all of this beauty regimen wont work if we continue to have unhealthy lifestyle. No matter what we do, the best thing we need to do is to have a healthy lifestyle and lets begin it with detoxification. I love my skin and i use cheap and natural ingredients for it. I also love my lips and im still looking for best ways to enhance my beauty without making my wallet empty. Happy mylotting!

Hi FFfrocks, when I see your list it makes me realise how low maintenance I am. I wouldn't touch plastic surgery, just the thought, yuck. It's 3 years since I last coloured my hair and guess what, underneath it was natural blonde and still is, lightened with the sun. I don't tan, crazy in this sun, so wear sun protection. Don't do salon visits, have my hair trimmed every 6 weeks. Probably a case of feel good, look good.

I'm pretty low maintenance too. Not quite as much as you though as I do dye my hair, it started going white when I was 16... Thanks mom! I do go through girly phases though, where I'll get my nails done, but they don't ever last.
