Teaching: The Quiet Discussion Group

I wonder why is it that there aren't many discussions on "Teaching" topic? Till now, there are only about 300+... while some other topics have between 20,000-40,000 discussion threads!
Is it because teachers are not keen to talk about their work? Or do people (teachers and non-teachers) find this topic a bore?

By no means is it a boring topic. But I have nothing to post about in it. Many things that teachers could rant about or even talk about are considered private. They cannot really talk about specific situations like in the other topics because of privacy issues. That is why I have always thought the topic rarely came up.
