Karaoke stories!

Has anyone been to karaoke? Is it fun, or embarrassing? Or embarrassing fun? I've never been, but I'd definitely go if they had some more interesting songs. One of my friends went to an 'alternative' karaoke and sang Faith No More's "Epic". Now that I'd totally do.

Actually, "Epic" is out on karaoke. There are literally tens of thousands of songs out there on karaoke, it is just a matter of what the particular kjs in your area have available. Some kjs have a lot more than others. In our area, One kj has over 20,000 songs (some are duplicates) while another has less than 2000. The thicker their book, the more choices you will have. I have a great time at karaoke. I have been singing since 2001 and was at first embarrased, but now I love it. My advice is to try it. I think you will really enjoy it.

My daughter went to a karaoke club with her friend. The friend has been singing at the club for quite a while now. After her friend sang a few tunes, it was my daughter's turn. She brought the house down. Her friend doesn't ask her to go with her to this place as often now. Guess she knew who had the better voice.
