what can i call myself, UNLUCKY, very much. it is so frustrating whenever you go home and try to surf the net an find out that your disconnected to Internet. and when ever you ask for help to them they will just answer you,,that my connection is signal based.,i should get a good location to have a connection.,and when I'm trying to unsubscribe from them, i cant because i am bind with a one-year lock in period. - but i paid for their services for INTERNET CONNECTION not for being DISCONNECTED.

i have had that similar problem with globe before. what we did was even if the contract was not finished we did not pay, they had disconnected our internet, we discontinued using it and never have it reconnected again because of having the same problem over and over. now im using smart broadband. so far so good. i was even able to buy a printer worth P500.00 only with a 1 year contract on the internet connection. the contract is finished now but im still using smartbro

if this kind of service will continue for the next month im not really paying my bills,. and i will try smartbro hope this could satisfy my expectations. thats why we bought their services because of the connection,,, we are paying for it, not for the downtime.,

Sounds like you're in a situation just like my friend. His Globe Broadband is disconnected but he can't unsubscribe because of the lock in period. He has no choice but to make do with a very very lousy connection. It looks like Globe is only concerned about having people subscribe to them then ripping them off with subpar internet connection.

in my view, it is not according to contract when they cant provide a good internet connection, thus they dont have the right to bind anyone in a lock in period without the services they sell.,i am planning not to pay my bills

Yes, i've tried Globe's USB mobile broadband connection and I also didn't get satisfied with it. I bought it last March when I was still working in Makati. The connection is really not reliable even if I live near Globe centers, I used to live Chino Roces (condo) but I still can't get good connection. And I am getting disconnected once i got connected after 30 long minutes.
