It's much very easier if somebody physically teaches you how to cook and some more tips. I can be here telling you lots of things that you could have no idea about because you haven't seen me do it. Maybe your parents can help you out, or you and your friend can try cook something up. Books are also good. Try get a beginner one, that have steps that you can understand and simple things to make. Then you can get more intermediate and advanced.

Rachel Ray has a web site and I know her cooking is simple and healthy, I also watch cooking shows on TV. The food channel or PBS. You can often get used cook books and I like them the best because it's right there in black and white and you can easily read the directions again. Good Luck

You can find great cooking sites all over the internet but one I really like is lidiasitaly.com she is great and I can not wait to get her book. anyhow a really simple three ingredient pasta dish is as follows You will need Large onion Pasta noodles (i use linguini) Tomatoes with lots or meat (i use Roman tomatoes) Cut up onions into chunks but not to big and cook them in a skillet with a little bit of water till slightly browned. In a big bowl squish your tomaotes us, Like makign your own pasta sauce because that is what you are doing. In a big pot boil water for noodles and add when water is at a vigorouse boil, linguini needs to boil only ten minutes or so. Add your homemade tomato sauce to the cooked onions and heat till slightly bubbly. when noodles are done drain, pour some olive oil into the noodles and mix around, (this is optional, i like the added flavor) Using a pasta bowl add noodles and cover with tomato and onion sauce. this is simple and easy and very cheap and since it is pasta it is filling as well. Chives, rosemary, parsely and many other herbs can be added to the sauce or garnished on top for added flavor, it is up to you. have fun and enjoy!!!

Hello everyone. Looking for recipes to enhance your cooking skills is fine, but it would be better if you could experiment different combination of ingredients on your own to come up with your own recipe. I believe that's how cook books are born. As you have mentioned, you already know the basic stuff, just add on - ask people. Watch TV cook shows - I do that all the time because I want to see what goes into the bowl... it's interesting. Have you tried fried ice-cream? People who have never done it say it's impossible, but if you're creative, it could be done.... and it's on sale in my country though I've not tried it :)
