Is Michael Jackson's music bland?

I am also not sure what bland music means. So I checked Mr. Webster and it defined bland as gentle and soothing or suave; something not stimulating or irritating or simply mild. If this is what bland means, then MJ's music is partly bland. His music is gentle, soothing, suave and stimulating, but never irritating nor mild.
