The best Christian book I've read thus far is "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist" by Norman L. Geisler and Frank Turek. It's non-fiction, though I figure that's a little obvious, and it starts at the very beginning, is there such a thing as truth, and takes you though the theories and evidence from both sides. For someone who thinks logically, like historical evidence and critical thinking it's awesome because it's all there, but they also make it an interesting and easy enough read for most anyone. Another one that I'm reading and this one is fiction is "The Last Disciple" by Hank Hanegraaff and Sigmund Brouwer. Thus far it's a compelling read and hard to put down.

The Purpose Driven Life is also one of the best books I've ever read. It is really life changing. It is not a surprise anymore if many copies of that books were sold. The book is so easy to understand and encouraging. Anyway, thanks for sharing Freedom from Bondages Book. I hope I can also have a copy of that and read what is all about that book.

The Purpose Driven Life is really also one of the best books I've ever read. My mom bought me a copy of that and It indeed changed my life in so many ways. I'm glad I've read that one and now that book was also borrowed by a friend of mine and I'm sure her life will also change dramatically and gloriously. Thanks for sharing about the book Freedom from Bondages. Hope to buy a copy of that soon and read it.

Last week I just finished reading 'Left behind' written by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim La Hay .It's mainly based biblical theology. There are some excerpts from the Bible but otherwise its entirely fictional. Overall its a total revelation that deals with the emotions and suffering of a human and his longing for return of Jesus.

I read the whole series, bigott, did you? I always thought of myself as a christian; a witness. I have always believed in God for that was how I was raised, but when I heard of the series I decided to grab the first book and read it and glad I did. It opened my eyes more than I thought and had a very hard time putting the book down. I had some sleepless nights due to wanting to finish that book. After that I continued on with the series. Trying to recall - I believe there were 12 books in this series and I know that I finished them up pretty fast. I know the series had been around for awhile, but did not know that a small portion of it is what it is. Bless someone today. I just did.

One of my favorite reads was "The Present Darkness" by Frank E. Peretti. Soon I will read his other book that I have "Piercing the Darkness". Fictional Love & Inspirational books are good reads. I am in a christian books club that send for 4 or 5 a month; although they may sound like romance books, they aren't to a degree. They have actually helped me to deal with the different personalities of other people. There are some good authors out there also, like Max Lucado; who happens to be one of favorite authors. Have you read the "Book of Jabez"? Very good book. Since your post, babyfiona08, have you found a good book? I would interested to try and read some of your finds. Have a blessed day.

One of my favorite reads was "The Present Darkness" by Frank E. Peretti. I am getting ready to read his other book "Piercing the Darkness" soon. Right now I have been reading my collection of fictional Love Inspired books. I am not into Romance and these books don't really point that way but it is nice reading on how to deal with others through fictional inspiration. And it is always nice to read a christian book without the foul language. But there are some really good authors out there, babyfiona08. I also like Max Lucado books. Have you discovered any since your started your discussion? I would be interested to try and read some of your finds. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for that KarissaAngel. I'm also a Max Lucado fan. My favorite is his It's Not About Me. I love reading it. I haven't discovered any book yet from here. I hope I could see one of these days.
