What is the best magazine for great recipes? I'm looking for family dinners during the week. I used to get "Quick Cooking" which I liked, but it seemed to repeat the same dishes.

Personally, if I'm wanting to make a specific dish i go to Food Network's website and look it up. usually they will have a number of different recipes by a few different chef's and i can typically narrow it down to one in particular and get all the ingredients for. Ant their recipes are not hard. In fact they rate them from easy to hard to help people determine whether a recipe is right for what they are trying to accomplish. The also have a magazine as well you can subscribe too or find in stores.

I subscribe to Taste Of Home's Healthy Cooking magazine (formerly Light & Tasty.) Taste of Home has a whole line of recipe magazines- the original Taste of Home as well as Cooking for 2, Healthy Cooking, Country Woman and Simple and Delicious. They all have a really great selection of recipes! And the food is so delicious!

I have collected a bookcase of cookbooks, magazines, leaflets and so on through the years. The best cookbook by far for me is "The Joy of Cooking". It´s my cooking Bible even if now I make up my own dishes. But many times Inow I "discuss" with the book what could we do
. It has all kinds of recipes: easy and difficult. They are all explained step by step. Besides, they also have explanations about measurements in different countries, different cuts in meat. Just ask: it´s there.
I hope this helps.
I am a good cook now. I´ll post a picture of a dish I made for freinds. My friend wanted a picture of it.
Happy posting
