I have a Dell Xp and use Microsoft internet explorer and speed is driving me crazy even though I clean and etc. What would be the best brouser, free, that I could download? Do you have a link for me? Bless you in advance! Also, would this have any effect on my e-mail, outlook express?

I use Mozilla Browser because it is faster, more secure and more reliable than using Microsoft's proprietary browser.

Being frustrated by firefox and Internet Explorer I was also in search of a speedy brouser. At last I have downloaded Opera. And I am very satisfied with the speed. Just type opera in your search, you wi find the link. It is free.

Hi, I just downloaded Opera, thank you. I'm keeping the other MIE too as it has all my favorites marked. Question: I have Kaspersky anti-virus..will this protect Opera too or do I need to download something for Opera? I want to be safe.

When I installed opera my anti-virus was Kaspersky. And I have not faced any problem.Though now I am using avast, a free registered version. And it is also giving me good result. At least my computer is safe.

Mozilla fire fox is the best if you are dealing with online earning site. But this will utilize more resources of your computer and if you have enough RAM then it will not be a issue.Download it from their own site and mozilla.com and never download it from any third party websites as they may have some spywares along with them. Just yesterday only I red one discussion regarding this in mylot.Take care.

my question is, after all of this suggestions that you took, are you able to have a good speed for your internet? are you having the same slow performance with regards to the other application that you are using with you computer (e.g. office word, games, apps). if your havng the same kind of performance with other apps then it might not be a browser issue but might be a software Os issue. need to call dell for that.... another thing that you can try is to go to a website where in you can test the speed of your internet connection. if you got the speeds then you can call your isp to check the standard speed for your connection and compare. if its meeting the right speed and it means that there is a problem with your browser or your browser settings.... you might wanna try diff browser or uninstall and reinstall the current one that you are using. you might wanna try to check your firewall or your antivirus settings.... good luck!

The best browser would be Firefox Mozilla. The go to http://getfullspeed.com and download the software. You internet speed will increase about about 3x-5x. Trust me.

When it comes to browsers, I would have to say "Mozilla Firefox" takes the cake. If your computer itself is all around slow, you should look into getting some more ram for the computer. It will speed it up like nothing else.
