Presents OR Money??Which would you choose?

When I was still a young boy,I used to love having gifts and presents..You'll see me wake up early because I'm very excited to see what my family or friends have given me..I remember me jumping out of joy whenever my birthday is near or christmas or new year..but that was before..
Time passess by and it seems that my interests for gifts have faded away..well if the one who gave the present is my girlfriend I will be happy ofcourse..but whenever others give me presents,the feeling isn't the same anymore,the excitement of opening the gift and seeing whats inside it is just not there..
I don't why is it like this but maybe because I already have everything I needed and contented of what I have..So,instead of accepting their gifts I sometimes give them a hint that I prefer money instead..hehe
Come to think of it,if they gave me money then I can do whatever I want with it..buy stuff that I need..I know with presents what counts is the thought but on the other hand I don't need more new things anyways so I'd rather go with the money..

in some ocassionsi feel like someone giving me money is pretty thoughtless unless i really need money and there thinking about me. but if there just giving me money for christmas i feel like they didn't even think much about me this christmas. there probably thinking what can i get her money ok next person. presents you actually put alot of thought in it. but i'm really picky so i rather get the money.

For me gift is more important than money as that is not just a expensive piece but someone gives it to you with his/her deep feelings. Money can never spread love , it just makes greed and also become a cause for broking relationship. Happy mylotting!

Money. Because most of the times, those who give me gifts usually do not have the same tastes with me. I would rather enjoy receiving money since it can give me the freedom to buy whatever I want according to my taste.

well, it depends on the nature of the giver. If I see he/she can't afford to give any material thing for me then it would be alright. It would be better to give than to receive...

Money is always a good option because who doesnt want more money?
But honestly, presents are better! When someone really knows you and surprises you with something that you love and you will use, it is fantastic! I always feel bad putting money towards bills or something boring. I love when I get a gift that really fits me.
So when I give gifts, I try to really match the gift to the person. I dont want it to be something that will just collect dust, but I want it to be more personal than just some cash or a gift card.

When I was a child, I was happy to see presents, especially when it came to my birthday. Growing older, we know that is something more interesting than presents, that is money, I mean cash. Sometimes, the present that we received might be a useless thing to us. Then it would be a waste. Why not we get the cash and buy the things that we want. Somehow I always love whatever things that brought from my hubs.
