This Auction on eBay caught my attentention.

I was just browsing through the auctions on eBay when I came across the following auction:

I had read about this in our national newspapers and it was also on national radio and television but I never dreamed that somebody would put a replica of the stump up for auction. I must say that I thought it was very clever and funny. I hope eBay have a sense of humour will let the auction run it's course.

LOL I have seen things like this on Ebay before. I think they should come with a buyer beware sign afterall how do you know that it really came from where they said it did. How do you know it is actually a piece of what their claiming. I think something like that you would either want to get it from someone who you know that lives there and will send you an actual piece of it or from a reputable company that you can trust or even go there yourself to get your own.
I would not buy it but then that is just me.

You wouldn't believe how many ppl would throw away perfectly good money on something like this. I knew a woman that got kicked off Ebay for selling "genuine rocks from the Bahama's"...a little touch of heaven as she put it. The rocks came from her driveway...in Ohio. She sold dozens and dozens of them.

People will try and sell anything they can get away with.
I heard that a phone number that is mentioned in a song recently went up for auction and sold for something like $300,000.

All I can say is "It's well for some people who have that amount of money to bid on a phone number". I doubt very much that this auction will get very much. I think the person who put it up for auction just did it for a bit of fun - at least that's my impression.
