Would love someone forever still exist in our modern world?

It seems like a romantic theme, and it only existed in movies for someone to love another people forever. No matter how long he/she waits, he/she still waiting for that person with that unceased love. While in reality, would you wait for another person for over 10 years, or even longer, 20 years, that you still love him/her? Maybe he/she was in the war, and can not be home really soon. But no matter what happen, would you still wait for him? From my observation, that will be a rare case. Most people from our modern world, forever love seems won't happen. And no one would ever wait that long for someone in a lifetime. Better yet, find another person, or another love.

I think it depends on the love and how strong it is between a couple - then if they are parted maybe they will wait for each other! x

I still believe in forever love despite it's 21st century now. I will wait for him/her if he/she loves me truly and appreciate me for the sacrifice I made. However if he/she did some actions that shows no appreciation and hurts me, then I'll prefer to let go and not wait any longer. I will wait provided he/she is worthwhile.

I cannot imagine myself actually waiting for someone, but I do believe that people can love someone for ever. You might get together in your 20's then grow apart, each person gets with other people, but you get back together in your 60's because you realise that what you's had was better than anything you have had with anyone else.

it still exist for some reasons just that the modern times have really made situations and conditions of living very hard and people no longer have a flexible heart to love others for a long period of time again, except for one's family or blood relative i don't think people do love each for many years these days

Yes I still do think that loving someone forever still exists...it may be a rare case but i do believe that it can still happen. Love exists in any time or place.

if there is one possibility that exists in the world, it is the fact that there is a love of a lifetime. forever does not exist in the physical world because we will all leave a finite lifetime here. it is very much possible to find and profess true love that will endure the test of time and space. stories of this kind do not only appear on movies or books. there are stories told with this theme, two people still in love after so many years. is it possible, yes very much.

Waiting for the love of your life is the most difficult task any human being has to go through... the movies made are the imagination form of the real life... i have seen many people who patiently wait for their loved ones for years together ...thinking that some day he /she will come and be in thier arms ... yes this is true in this real world too..

For me it's possible if there is enough trust and constant communication to each no matter how far they are. It happened to me one time when my bf went in their hometown and stayed there for 4 months. For 4 months we did not see each other but we always see to it that there's still an open communication between the two of us. If both of you will do your part, definitely it will be possible. And most importantly, loyalty is very important. 'Cause love is like a seed.It needs to be nourished for it to grow. Once you have surpassed the storms in your relationship, nothing can break you.

I think it does, its just not in the way you want it. A mother will always love her child. There can be two friends that are in love. So yes there is that love forever but not the way you may want it.

I think these days people are too (for lack of a better word) bored. If someone they love has to go away for a while, they probably could wait and love them when they returned BUT... People have lost great qualities due to technology, the fast lifestyles we live, lack of discipline... Who knows! I don't think many people are patient enough anymore. No one is committed anymore. Hell, half of the involved don't even understand what love really is! I think it is possible... But I think it is VERY, very rare. Also, people are constantly changing. The person you love may go through experiences that shape them and change them into an entirely different person so that by the time they come back, you may not even recognize them anymore. How can you love someone forever, if they won't be that someone forever?

I think that true forever loving is still there in this modern world al;so but its somewhat lessend.I saw many people waiting for long time for their loved ones.Even some people remain as bachelors for their love. But these days people has becoome more selfish and there is no value for true love. This doesn't mean that it is gone, its there.
