How to kill Popup window that refuses to close?

Hi All,
Nowadays internet surfing has become so common and popular that many websites force their advertisements on the users. some website have popups that never get closed even a popup blocker is turned on may be they are popup under ads which runs in background. can somebody suggest me a good popup blocker to kill those popups?

Popup that refuse to close is also what I really hate. But in most cases ,we can only use task manager to close such a disturbing popup. If it doesn't allow you to shut down a task, you can open the folder "process" and shut down some related processes according to your browser
