Do you watch the parody videos that the users making fun of a celebrity that they don't like. They dress themselves like Britney, MJ or some celebs that they don't like and make fun of them. do you get offended when your favorite celebrities are made fun like that? or do you enjoy them? do you think that they are wasting time making such ridicule. or you see it as fun and entertaining?

Hello Andresimp, I do not deliberately search for such videos on youtube. However, once I was searching for the backstreet boys videos, like "quit playing games", "I want it that way" and the like and then I bumped into a lot of parody videos that a few Asian guys had posted. They were making funny faces while singing and I did not like that one bit, as I think it was a way of insulting such great artists and songs.

well, even i do not search for such videos, however some videos do not say that it is a parody. you are right, it is really an insult. I was watching Britney's interview, where she burst out to tears. one guy made a parody of that video, dressed up like her, chewing gum in his mouth, crying and imitating Britney. i feel it was harsh to make fun of some one's emotions. whether you like or don't like them doesn't matter. thanks for sharing your views. i appreciate it

Sometimes i hit it up even not intentionally looking for that, and the one i found is the song kiss me through the phone. It is insulting maybe but it shows that the song is popular that others are making their own version of the song but the melody and beat are the same, only that in parody they make it funny. I love to watched that video too, as long as they are just making it for fun.

I do not search for these type of videos but if I happen to come across one I certainly do NOT get offended. They can be funny or plain stupid but IMO usually the celebrity who is being parodied usually deserves it.
