Why aliens always more intelligent than us...

Why do all the movies show humans as an violent imbecile race and the aliens as intellgent and super. Its not only some movies but all. I ahve example.... the day the earth stood still..... race to witch mountain.... transformers..... and many more.... ...even superman....

You really see humans, in these movies, as violent imbeciles!? Usually the aliens, to me at least, are more violent. Yes, they are intellgent, but usually more hell bent on destroying the human race. To me, the aliens actually represent us. In life the human race has wiped out a huge number of animal species! Exstinct.
We're the aliens on our own planet.

i don't see us as imbeciles..... the aliens call us imbeciles in the movie.... in other words... thew writer is calling us imbeciles.... i also wanna say the same thing as you..... and we didn't wipe out any species of animals..... if they would have the instinct to survive.. they would have survived us... and no animals are extinct actually... they just change form and we call it something else...

Beats me but funny how aliens are more intelligent then us in movies but yet its funny how they also cant beat us in movies we always come out on top so proves where smarter then aliens lol. And why are most aliens bad anyway the only good alien in a movie was et I think or at least that ive seen.

No the greatest superhero we got is an alien..... they are like us in the movies... some good some bad...

Apparently aliens are supposed to be living 1000 years or more into our future. So, maybe if we can live that long, we would be just as smart...with all the new technologies that come out each year, Scientists discovering things every day, we are bound to smarter than we are today, if we can look into our futre 1000 yrs from now. Look at the children today, they are learning things in 3rd grade that I learned in High School.

LOL. Yes that is actually a good question! Its probably because we know the extent of damage we can can actually do. The movie makers need to makeup the evil stuff that their make believe aliens do
