what's that movie from i think 2006 where an asteroid hits Earth & starts turning people into aliens from the inside? so they still looked human but they weren't. i remember it had a blonde actress for the main character she played a therapist i think i just can't remember who it was lol....

To me this sounds like "The Invasion" as it stars Nicole Kidman as a psychiatrist who discovers that alien spores have crashed on earth attached to a space shuttle. But this came out in 2007 so not entirely sure if it is the same one you are thinking off. It also stars Daniel Craig if that helps at all.

Having another thought as it could also be Slither as this came out in 2006 and fits your description quite well.
