Do you think it is safe to send pictures of young children over the cell phone? The picture I am talking about show as 3 yr old asleep in just her panties, she is lying on her tummy. Is there any way this can get into the wrong hands and should we be worried? I told them I didn't think it was wise, am I worrying to much?

I would like to think that it is perfectly safe and that may be but I would be reluctant to send photos of children out into the world because chances are there will be a record somewhere and a third party my well see them so I personally would not take the chance of it being the wrong hands.

I would be wary of sending pictures of children which seem innocent enough. There are a lot of perverts out there and they could fall into these hands.

When children are concerned you can't worry enough, you hear so many stories and in this day and age it's always best to err on the side of caution. It's a sick world we live in. I wouldn't send pictures myself, I am not hot on technology so wouldn't know if the pictures could be intercepted but I just wouldn't take the risk, I would hate for it to fall into wrong hands. It's a shame we have to be so damn cautious, it never used to be like this did it?

If you don't feel comfortable about sending such a picture then don't. We are assured all the time that the internet is safe for such use but one can never be 100% sure. I wouldn't send them myself because one little mistake can create a whole lot of problems. We all have pics of our kids being bathed and so on when they are very young and usually they are brought when they get older to show family members and have a laugh, you know what I mean. However, there are scum who would love to get their hands on such photos and I don't even want to think about what they do with them. If you want to give the pic to someone else and they live close to you and you can download the pic directly to yours or their computer than do it that way.
