I have read in my newspaper that virtual action games like counter-strike increase your frustration level and you become short temper person and that led to mental instability, i have seen my players breaking their keyboard while playing bcoz of frustration.....

I do not think frustration is caused because of just playing. When someone who is good at some play starts playing badly then the frustration comes in to play. But still I never get frustrated to the level where I will break any of the PC's parts. That is childish. One should grow up and try handling ones emotions. If a person becomes short tempered and mentally unstable just because of playing games I think it is the persons incapability to control himself.Games like counter strike are fun to play, I love playing it and I am a very cool headed person and so are my friends.

I think online games definitely increase frustration levels in people. Games were initially made just to relax with, but now they all (except most Wii games) are made with such a high level of difficulty that you can't play without getting frustrated, and if you don't you think its too easy. One of my friends has this problem big-time with Xbox Live. One night playing Halo 2, he got so mad that he threw a chair across the room. Yea, we were kinda scared too ha and he has broken 2 other controllers. I have broken one too actually. Its a competition now, especially with online play. You really can only relax if you play by yourself, and even then its a rarity.

the frustration is depend upon how much you show interest on the game the more you show is more you have....but the frustration should be in your control........
