what makes your state or city special?

do you like living in your city? whats the bad and the good about it?
i love living in my city but someones i get a little tired of it all i do is say how great it is all the time to my friends. but i would love to travel and see how different it is in another city. i have one friend thats lived in like 20 different places shes even been to japan and the united kingdom and she tells me how great it is in those places and whats different about them.
i like my city because its big and i'm always meeting new people and the people i hate i can avoid so easily. and whats bad about it is um well i can never find anything. there so many street names and places i figure when i start driving i'm gonna get lost all the time! and also whats great ours is the biggest city so alot of celebrities always play here. not only that were known for derby and a big fire work show. my favorite free stuff and games and rides. alot of them are free and half aren't its soo fun.

My city is the southernmost capital city in the world. The closest capital city to Antartica. Many scenes of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and King Kong were filmed here and Peter Jacksons studio is quite close to my home. Infact the ship from King Kong is docked on 15min run from my house.
My city is beautiful and the town is located on the harbour, but as we don't have many ships it isn't overcrowded or used for loading ships but is lined with pretty bridges, night lights, restaurants, parks, shops and artwork. 10min walk from the city is a lovely white sandy beach facing the city.
I also love our population of 300,000-400,000 people. A bustling city but not so busy that you feel confined while walking in town.
