Decades ago, when my husband worked in a trade company, we kept a large number of used stamps from all of the world. Later, we bought the annual album form the post office. I like the stamps, which tell a lot about the historic events, and various aspect of our interests. Do you keep stamps, and how do you maintain them in perfect status?

I love to collect old stamps. I have all kinds of them, even from back when they were only a penny lol. Most of the old ones I have came from letters that were passed down from within the family. That drew my interest as a kid and I've been collecting ever since. There are SO many neat stamps out there! I don't have one of those collecting books, though they are nice. I keep mine in envelopes with the year written on the front (ie: World War II, etc) and then I keep those envelopes in an airtight box so they won't get ruined (or worse...stuck together!) I have my grandson interested in clipping them off envelopes now and he enjoys looking at all the different ones.
