Why do in india the car are of left hand drive made, what are the reasons

speed, roads, quality of life, progress, habit, etc.
What would be the reason behand it.

The English drive on the left side of the road, and so countries that were part of the old British Empire had the same system, and many of them still do today. Canada if one exception in that they changed to right hand drive because it was easier to travel in and out of the United States if they had the same system.
