My parents named me Alexis Magdalaine by I go by Laine for short. I don't really like the Alexis Part cause from what I know it's a boys name and I got teased for that back in kindergarden but its all good. I like my name "Laine" though. People have given me all sorts of nicknames for that, Elaine, Lainey, LaLaine and so on ..

haha, nice question..i really hate my name, it was taken from the name of my grandfather, and it annoys me a lot when somebody tries to name me exactly the same as the name of my grandfather..hehe, i always want a name close to it, a name that belongs to the new generation's name..i like the topic..haha
