Are you choosy when it comes to making friends?

Hi everyone how are you? i hope you're ding great.
I keep thinking what makes some people so easy and some people are so hard when it comes to making new friends? For me, I'm quite thankful to God that i can befriend anyone and easy to hang around with new people.
Or is it because some people are very choosy? or is it because they choose friends that have same interest to them? Or are they choosing the same race, as in another words racist? Hmmmm??
Lastly and the most important question here is....what about you friends?
What are your criteria or points that you look at and you think its important when choosing a friend?

I suppose I choosy, I really do not want to hang out with people that annoy me and get on my nerves. I don't want to make a friend who will just use me or make a friend with someone who will tell all of my secrets to the world. You have to be choosy in those respects because you want to be friends with a good loyal person that won't stab you in the back when you are not around. I don't have a large group of friends, but the people I am friends with are very good to me and I am vice verse, so I am happy with that and that is all I really need.

That's very true especially when we really need those kind of friends in hardship.i don't think anyone would want to have a friend a stab back and talk lies about us behind our back. yes, true friends are not many but only them we can rely on when we really need their help. friend in need is friend indeed :)! thanks for your response, I hope you will get more good and loyal friends in your life to come. happy mylotting and have anice day :)!

I believe that we must choose people who we wants to consider as friends. I do also choose whom. I observe their behaivor and attitude. This is because our friends are the most influential person in our life. If I let make friends to those I don't like, maybe I'll become what they are also. The word friend should not be over used. Friends are those we can call few can all we knew.

I like to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. It doesn't matter who they are, male or female, black or white or any other race. As long as the person treats me right and doesn't lie to me or steal from me, I'm a friend of theirs as long as they wish for me to be. Now once they prove me wrong, that they're not a good friend then it's bye bye to them. But at first, I like to give every person the benefit of the doubt and let them prove one way or the other what kind of friend they can be to me.
