What would it be? What product would you sell or what service would you provide? Would it be an online business, or have a physical store location? I can think of several businesses that I would like to have in the future. I would love to own a restaurant or cafe. I would also like to start my own bottling company, because I like to make my own ginger ale.

I started my own business when I was fifteen. My father was a real estate investor and I saw how he determined the hours of his business...he didn't have to have an external office, etc. I've always been a self starter, but the fact that I wouldn't have to report to work--even if the store/business WAS mine--was a HUGE plus. Now I am also a real estate investor and my father's business partner. He's been teaching me all I need to know. I love real estate because it takes up hardly any time. I have a few properties that I rent out, so unless there is a problem with the property or one tenant moves out and I have to get the property ready for another tenant, I do not have to work at all...just a trip to the bank every month. I also started a little side project right before the economy crashed...since I've worked in data entry for years on the side of my business, I started my own clerical business. Of course, then the economy went downhill and I had no offers after that, but it's a skill I can provide so I looked into options for it and started the business. My husband wants to start a cafe/bookstore. I've also always had hopes for a no kill animal shelter. There are tons of possibilities. :)

I would also like to get into the rental business. I would like to own some rental properties and provide low-income housing that's not a dump and is in a nice area of town.

I always want to start my own business. The only thing that I could come up with is Lighting products. LED will be the future of our energy saving items in the list. Don't you agree with it? I just want to invest on this items.

Last year when I was planning my wedding, I wanted some simple, small LEDs to put inside paper lanterns in my decorations. You would not believe how expensive single battery-operated LEDs are, and how difficult it is to find them in just plain white! You could have a market with that one product if you so chose.

You can make pretty good money by fixing up houses. My grandparents did that- not as a business, but they remodeled the houses they lived in and every time they moved into a different house they made a profit.

If I could have one, I would like to buy a resort by the sea where waves are good for surfing, sailing and gliding. I always dream of having a house by the sea and seeing people surfing, sailing and gliding. I also want beach people enjoy the sea, the sun and the sand. :-)

That would probably be a fun business to run.

I would love to start a candle business working from my home. However, I just don't know how to get started.

Well, you could become a representative for an already-existing candle company like PartyLite. Or you could pick up a how-to book on making candles and get the supplies from your local craft store.
