my question is actually lyrics of the song rainbow connection Why are there so many songs about rainbows?

I used to love that song when I was little. It was even a song that we sang in our school choir. I think there are so many songs about rainbows because rainbows make everyone happy. What better way to feel happiness then to put it in a song?
