Touchscreen Issues?

I've had my cellphone for about 8 months now. I got an LG Voyager. It has a touchscreen front and flips open for the full keyboard. I love the keyboard and it has turned me into a fan of texting. But on the other hand, I have some issues with the touchscreen. Many times I will tap the screen (and I have set ti to chirp when I touch something)it will chirp but nothing happens, or it goes to the wrong place. I have calibrated the screen a few times, but it doesn't really seem to help. And the scrolling function also is not the best. Does anyone else have similar issues with their touchscreen? Any suggestions?

I have an HTC touchscreen phone and sometimes I have an issue with it not responding to screen taps. But that is about it I have never had that serious of a problem. I would say maybe take it to your providers retail store I know people that take their phones there and they will do like a diagnostic on it.

Hey! Have you figured out your touchscreen issues? The reason I ask is that I am looking into getting a new phone soonish and want one of the Smartphones so badly. But if the screen is really touchy, I may rethink my choice of the touchscreen on the front.
