People nowadays welcome the use of alternative medicine despite the fact that not all has proven therapeutic claims... Do you believe that alternative medicine could replace the modern or orthodox medicine? What do you think?

Hmmm... I don't really know which one to believe more, alternative or modern medicine. With all those testimonials on how they have been healed by just drinking tea, and this and that, etc, etc.. I even personally know someone who claims to have been cured of cancer by just drinking a certain juice whereas medicines cannot cure her. But with no science to support their claims it's hard to believe in alternative medicine. Unless maybe, I will experience it myself. I guess it's more of faith. It's not bad to believe in both as long as we have faith in God. I'd rather believe more in faith than in any methods of curing a disease. Ciao!

Yes I believe that. Alternative or herbal medicines has less bad side effects than those scientific one. The best alternative medicine I ever know is this Oriental Medicines. They are purely came from nature and I like it much cause it is very affective...

Hi, cmnavarro! While I don't think alternatives should replace traditional medical treatment, I think they should be use more along with allopathic medicine. If something less disruptive to the body than pills or such, it seems a lot better for one's health.
