Visit Kashmir?? I never been to India before and really wish to have this chance too. Sometimes when I saw from TV, it show to me that India is very hectic city and looks very complicated to me. Of course, not all parts of India looks that complicated. But I am so worry about the language communication too if were to travel to india. Do share with us your experience in your winter trip!! happy holiday!!

Wow, that's very interesting! I have no plans for anywhere yet. H1N1 is on the air. If I were to be given a chance to travel, I will choose Hainan Island, China. I want to visit my "Roots". My father came from Hainan Island, China when he was 15 years old and he started his family here in Malaysia. Therefore it is good to go back and see the culture and lifestyle of my forefathers :D So, Happy Holidaying & Happy myLotting too!

China is a big country. If I am given a chance for holiday, I also want to choose China. They are so many places to visit in China. I love travelling, but kid at my side, I can't travel far nowadays. I just feel uncomfortable to bring my son along for a long holiday trip unless in future he has grown up more. H1N1 is on air, it is best not to travel to abroad at this moment. But back to my hometown is only once a year and I miss my hometown alot. SOmemore,it is not that far distance. I just need to transit to Kuala Lumpuer for a few hours and then will take the next flight to Indonesia. Takecare!!

Iriene, I have been to Hainan island long time ago and visit some of the city there. I just could not resist the hot weather in Hainan. Hainan Island is famous for the city call Sanya city. This is the second largest city on Hainan Island, China. They held the Miss World 2007 competition in this city on Hainan Island at the very Southern tip of Mainland China. They call it China's Hawaii and I guess it's apt to call it that because of the long stretches of beach, palm trees and the massive rain forest. Iriene and shia, Wishing you guys a happy holiday in advance!

Hello Shia, You are so lucky, get to travel for the whole December! Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are just the nice place to shop around, you can shop till you drop! For Indonesia, I like Bali, in fact this is the only place I have visit in Indonesia. I like Indonesia food. I guess you just miss your home town. I am sure you will have a great time spend with your family in Indonesia. For me, I have went to Bali this year, probably I will not go any way far for this year end. But I do plan to go to Singapore in December. I wish to have my Christmas celebrated in Singapore. Looking forward to see you again in your next discussion!

The A(H1N1) virus has certainly wrecked up our holiday plans. I was supposed to go Atlanta and San Francisco last week but had to cancel them all. For now, we will probably stay at home and wait it out. We are currently talking of a local holiday and the one destination that we would love to go back is Tanjung Rhu Resort at Langkawi where the hotel knows very guest by their first name. We were there a couple of times and we totally enjoyed ourselves, relaxing, swimming, eating and drinking. We took their `all stay and food' package where we could eat and dine at whichever restaurant throughout our stay and we were downing sashimis and lobsters for dinners and ordering fresh mango juices every hour without having to worry about the bill when we check out. And the Datai Golf Resort where we played were tough, scenic and challenging. Of course, it would be much more difficult now to have a golfing round with our one year old son tackling along. Gone are the days where my wife and I could have the whole world to ourselves.

Hi Rodlkm, It seem you and your wife really enjoyed the Langkawi trip. I myself never been to Langkawi before. If given a chance, I will visit Langkawi one day. I read from alot of my friend's blog that Langkawi is a nice place for rilexing and also have alot of nice food there. Talking about ' all stay and food' package, how do you book this package? Any website to recommend? Does it mean that we can eat till drop without any xtra charges upon check out from the hotel? It sounds good to me as I am seafood and mango lover.
