What is the best way to grow broccoli?

I have been growing broccoli for about 5 years now, and I cannot seem to get a good head of broccoli. All I seem to get is long yellow flowers. What am I doing wrong? Am I watering too much, or not enough? Is it too much sun light, not enough? Thankyou for any suggestions. Peace, Totty

Oh,this is my first time to see a broccoli flower so beautiful like this.My family's planting broccoli back home in our hometown but i haven't seen flowers like this.I don't know about broccoli growing my friend,i am just fascinated with the photo you uploaded...it's really lovely I would ask my brother about this,becoz his broccoli plants are good headers.
