can the way you write be genetic? i think yes because my hand writing is like my dad who i haven't seen for 10 years so its not as if i see pieces of his hand writing and copy it. Some people may say no because we are taught how to write at school and we develop our own way which you can tell if try to use someone elses ink pen, the nib is different

My writing is similar to that of my mother and my sister in many ways. However I am also aware that everyone's writing also reflects many other things too like character and mood. It is cause for study here and I have taken evening classes on the subject. Here many firms who offer job vacations ask for a hand-written application which is then passed over to an expert who can 'read' many things through the style of the writing and help assess the right person for the job. These experts are often called in during police investigations too. Therefore though writing style may well be similar to those of our parents, they differ depending on other factors.
