do you buy store branded items?

some people are very snobby when it comes to what brand of food they buy,as a student i used to buy tesco value items not for everything but for things that tasted the same as the more expensive brand e.g. tesco value biscuits are the same as tesco normal biscuits because from an insider source at the factory to make the two brands seem different they change the pattern. Some times your paying for the colour and name of the packaging rather than the quality

True, there are many things you can by store brand of things because they are the same quality as the name brands. I for one will buy store brands of things because there is a tremendous savings to be had. But...there is something that I will not skimp...one of them being bacon. There is a difference in that. My mother tries to get me to buy the slices of paper known as store brand bacon, but I know better. *Pleiades
