Wipeout had their second Woman winner last Wed.

Me too! And I don't think a normal sitcom has caused me to laugh more than Wipeout. I'm glad that Jon guy, what's his last name? He used to host Talk Soup. He is so funny! I admire anyone who tries out for that show. They sure aren't afraid to make fools out of themselves. LOL Especially the guy whose toupee fell off in the water.

That is a GREAT show. unfortunately since the digital transition I no longer have a reception even with a converter box. Wipeout is one of about 5 shows I will miss. I did see the first woman winner though. and you are right those men were Couch Potatoes and girly men. There is a lot of skill to that show but also a certain amount of luck. And DEFINATELY Endurance. I would have tried out for it 15 years ago but nowadays...not so much.

Wow, how I love this show, so does my youngest child, he just loves seeing them wipe-out, he would shout "ouch, that must've hurt!!!". The show here airs on a delayed basis and is replayed and I really haven't seen a woman emerge victorious, I can't wait to see that happen. Yes, I too am rooting for the women to win, especially those that they ridicule not to win. I saw an episode one when a go-go dancer was in the final four beating out a 6 foot policeman. Was I rooting for her to win, but to no avail. I hope they air that show here sometime soon :)

I love Wipeout! it is sooo funny! i don't really root for men or women. I usually have one that just stood out to me and I like more than the others. Some of the hits those people take though look so wicked. I saw this week they have changed the bottom of the big balls. Last week the one heavier girl fell and as she fell the big ball pushed out of the way and she slammed her face and neck on the rim under the ball. Now they have it wrapped down around the rim so that can't happen.
