WWoof is a well-known organisation and it's a cool way of travelling, you get to partake in organic activities, learn some new techniques and so on and of course see great parts of the world - the manual labour can be hard for some though! Another place with a similar system is workaway.info, they charge 18 euros for 2 years membership, although last time I checked some of the hosts actually had their phone number up on the adverts that you could browse for free.

I have met a few travelers that have gone to work on a farm in return for accommodation and food. I think WOOOF operates in many different countries in the world. So it is a great way to travel it a person likes hard work and working outdoors. Many people that have a working holiday visa for Australia, 18 to 30 year olds, work on a farm. Bowen in Queensland has lots of farms and it employs many foreign workers that have a visa. Some farms are inland and not near any cities. I hope that you will have a really enjoyable time in wonderful Australia.

Hi When are you planning to go? I think the best way is that you plan your own trip as many office or agencies would charge you extra money - As of TOO MUCH - for things you can do on your own and save the money you are going to pay them on yourself. Check their prices and then try finding out from websites and do a comparison - You'll be shocked. If you are interested in doing this on your own I suggest you buy DK book or download it and check it out. The book would give you the best ideas of where to go and how things works. If you are interested, let me know and I'll let help you with this. Another thing, you might find some MyLotters who are from the same location and can help you with it. thx DK books can be found at: http://www.penguin.com.au/DK/eyewitness/
