Is it okey to shampoo your hamster?

I have a hamster, inorder to remove its bad odor I wash them with my shampoo. Im afraid that one day their fur falls. So please advice me what kind of bathing soap or shampoo I have to use. Or if there is no harm for them to use our shampoo
