Test drive before you move

On Thursday we're off to Northern Ireland for 6 weeks, you could say that is a sort of test drive before me and my 3 youngest children decide to make the move permanent. We will also be treating it as a holiday as one of the weeks we plan to go camping and we are all looking forward to seeing the sights. We decided to do it this way this time as the last time we made the move it turned out to be a complete disaster. So this time we will be taking it slowly and not rush into it. So I will not be around much after Thursday as I will have very limited internet access and hopefully will be having too much fun. So how about you, did you test drive the place you live in before you moved there, or did you just jump in with both feet and hope for the best?

Hi! I just jumped in head first, and some days i think it was the biggest mistake of all time. It seems there has been nothing that has gone right since i have moved, and everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. It is very frustrating, and very annoying. I wish now that i could have tested it out before i moved and if i ever decide to move again, i will certainly give it a test run before i move.
