I am a big beach person, I used to live in a place that is like less than 1 minute to the beach, it was the mostfamou beach where I live. I always went there at weekends, even at weekdays after work, I just change clothes and jump into the water! :-D And now I sitll live kinda close to the beach, just need to ride my bike down to the beach, I think it only takes me 10 - 15 minutes to get there. I like to be close to the ocean because as you can see I am a mermaid , I need it all the time! So do you live close to the beach?

The nearest beach to our house is an hour drive. Thats one reason we dont go often. WE do however have a creek that is fifteen minutes of a drive from our home and go there. I like it better. Its real shallow so my son can enjoy it. The water is not cold. Its just nice.

hey I stay 5 kilometres away from beach. you are lucky to live near beach. even Ilike to stay. but I don't have that option. it takes half an hour to reach the beach.usually I like to go to beach with my girl friend. if my home is near to beach means I can enjoy viewing the beach from my home with my girl friend. you are lucy

No, I wish I lived close to the beach, but instead I live about 5 hours away from the beach, which is hard travel, so I only get to see the beach maybe once a year. I can't imagine living in the middle of America, so I live closer than a lot of people. I will be at the beach in August for a week to visit my aunt, though this beach will be a 3 hour plane ride away, not a beach that I have been to very much in my life, but it is probably the best one. In December I will be at an even better beach in the Bahamas for a week over New Years with my boyfriend, so I am very excited! Two times in one year to go to the beach is definitely a lot to me, so life is good! It makes me really appreciate it when I get there.

I live about an hour and a half from the beach. I wish I lived closer, but I am happy that I at least live close enough to drive to for the day and back if I wanted to. I need to know that the beach is within driving distance whether I go or not. I couldn't live in a state that wasn't connected to the ocean.

Hi mermaidivy, I live within a five minute drive of three beaches, with another two ten minutes away, so there are plenty to choose from. I have my favourite, the quietest one, where we go late most afternoons. Even if I drive the hour up to town for shopping there is a few miles of beach there too so can have a rest and a swim before the drive back.

To get to the beach i would have to drive for about an hour to get there and it is always packed full of people of all ages with no where hardly to park.I hate driving so i tend to get someone else to drive my car as i get so stressed out getting to the beach and thats without getting parked up as well.Happy Mylotting.

Hello Ivy. How are you today ? Oh ! So, you are a beach girl ! I don't live very close to the beach, but I can see the beach from the window of my house. It's about 30 minutes walk to the beach. Oy, yeah, I enjoy relaxing on the beach too, when the weather is favorable, ofcourse. These days, it's very nice, and I was at the beach last weekend !

In my hometown we're near the sea, and the famous island here. It is only 5 or 10 minutes walk from our home and everyday if it the water is calm and current is not strong, we always have swimming in the sea. Famous island here is just 10-15 minutes boat rides. I love bodies of water and swimming. Now i missed doing it because we need to go to the nearest province here to have swimming in the sea or beach.

Yeah it is. Because of this nearest beach i love to go there even everyday that i do not need to have a fare unless i choose to pay for it. Swimming and seeing different kinds of people from different country is what i am really missing in this island.

I live near to the beach but I don't often have enough time to go there. I try to go at least once a month. Now, it's winter, but it's nice to go there though.

I live in New Mexico and there are no beaches unfortunately. When I move to Puerto Rico next year I will have a beach less than 10 minutes from me. I'm so looking forward to that. I never realized how much I love the beach till I was in PR a couple of months ago. They are beautiful and I just loved it and felt at home.

How I wish... because I am a fan of beaches!! Unfortunately the nearest beach from my house is about 1hour drive and it is not too beautiful and nice to swim in. I envy you. A beach can be very relaxing place to spend time on. If I have the money, I want to buy a home that is so near the beach that I can hear the sound of the waves!

i was born and brought up near a beach! so it kind of bored me. now when my husband says that he would want to go to a beach, i would wink...saying not again...the beach were i lived is a famous one..most of our relatives visiting us made a point to head to the beach for sunset! the only thing which i loved was the idea of getting lot of fish...i love fish so it was just an advantage...

I do. its a few minutes away. i could walk there. the ocean smell and atmosphere is a part of this world. i can also see some seagull near by sometimes. Although its pretty near, i'd prefer a house with the ocean in sight. that would be heavenly. waking up with the sound of ocean. i bet i'd be the most cheerful and carefree person. lol. mermaid indeed. good for you. i guess the line 'i like long walks on the beach' is no joke in your case. hahaha.
