We all know how great the inventions of the 20th century were. It gave us airplanes, television, recorded music, the telephone, computers, the Internet, and many many more. The list goes on and on. How about this century? What new inventions will there be? I'll start the ball rolling. I believe there will be cars that fly, and will be accident free. They will do all their own navigation. We will log in our destination, and off we go safely to where ever we like. How about putting on our imaginary hats and offering some brilliant inventions for this century.

There won't be paper money in a few years time, only electronic money. They most probably will have the RFID chip on everyone implied as the new law. With the RFID chip the government will be able to track each and every single person alive with the chip implanted in them wherever they are. With the RFID chip you won't need to carry on with you paper money as that will be your own personal chip that will have all your records of personal details in it. We can also expect to see some new war weapons never been seen before evolving. I believe that will be the peak of the modern world we are living in today. All these things I have said comes from research by the way.

Thank you Monsterblood, and I appreciate the research work. However, we are looking at the developed world, and many of the things of the future there, will not be able available, or possible, in the developing world. Don't you agree.

Sure, I certainly do agree but only to an extent. I do believe there is more to come but the truth is I also believe there will be an end to all this advanced technology we see today and we shall see in the future. This is my personal opinion but i believe WW3 isn't far from happening and what i can tell you is that it certainly will involve the use of nuclear weapons. Now if you know how much damage a nuclear can do, it should also give you an indication of where we as humans are heading towards to. To simplify myself, I believe after such a catastrophe we shall indeed be back to sword and horses again...no more advanced technology and all the hi-tec stuff we see today. Just my 2 cents.

Wow, pola, your imagination far outstretches mine. I once saw something about computerised newspapers, where you updatthe common cold, or will there be a cure?e it each day, much the same as you do your computer. I guess everything will be computerised. But will we still have

I think they will just keep on improving the things that we already have today. For instance, computers are here but the new developments will be faster computers and I just read of a quantum computer being put to its paces.

Thank you ubderdogtoo for your input. I agree that everything will improve, but I'm sure there will be items we cannot even dream of, that will become household items by the end, if not the middle of this century. I heard of a computer being 1000 times faster, if you can believe that.

I am not sure about flying cars, they might, you never know. I believe that this century is going to focus so much on energy efficient everything. I think there will be some break through in cars that run on water. There have been companies that have tried to make this happen. As far as making anything new... There are so many things that we have now that are amazing and companies are competing over who makes the same thing a little better. It will have to take one company to come up with something and then everyone else will follow. New phones, better computers, better cars...

Hello jgbe, I can see what you're saying, and I agree, so many things were invented last century, that's it's hard to imagine what's left to invent. I also believe everything we already have should become more efficient, and very much faster. Thank you for your thoughts.
