I have heard that although icecream is physically cold its chemical properties shows that it is originally hot so person having cold can have it without any effects but it hurts your throat so people with cough can not have it. Do u throw some light on it? Thanks

I actually don't think you're supposed to eat ice cream when you're sick, but not because of the temperature. Dairy creates phlegm in your chest and throat, which usually isn't noticeable when you're healthy, but if you already have a cold or cough, eating dairy will make it last longer and could make it get worse.

As long as it doesn't feel uncomfortable, and/or make your cold and/or cough worse, it should be fine.
I think it's nice to have tasty food and treats when you're sick, they're comforting and make the whole process of recovery a little more pleasant

I don't think any food is inherently "bad" for you; it just depends how much and how often you have it. Three or four days a week for ice-cream sounds fine. There are far worse things you could end a meal with! Just enjoy it and don't worry.
