How long do u wait to give best responses ?

hey there,so i was wondering..seeing how i have been off for so long..i have a ton of threads to go threw and give BR..then i started thinking besides that..when i reply to everyne elses topics..i always rate them..reply..and when the page comes up..i rate everyone on that page before i move on..and the last week of the month..i go and give my best repsonses..and rate everyone..soo what about you? do u rate everyone like me on the page ur one after u reply..and how long before u wait and give BR's??

I wait a long time to give best responses..since I don't get on here faitfully every day.. I am honest though, not going to write something that really I don't do... I have a lot of catchin up to do.

yea me too..like i said end of mth..its been a cpl days since ive been back and took a day to get my rythm back lol..i have a crapp load of BR's to give this mth..but til then im doin what im doin lol..u used to be an avid mylotter..why u been slackin? whats got ur attention these days?

I usually wait until some responses come.I wait for some days why because i need a good answer.I rate for every good response i get as far as possible i reply the responses.I select the response that more precisely answers my question and i wait to get more responses to make a pick up of answer exactly what i need.

yea..days are good..i just like waitng alot longer..like i said i have given out bhest responses and then a week later and i find teheperfect one and its too late..thats why i wait solong to give out BR's..have agood one!

Oh my, thanks for the reminder. I am so far behind on this. I used to give BR every couple of months. I haven't been as consitant with mylot lately so I haven't given any in a while. I should go and clean up some of my unfinished business here. A good goal to set. I didn't like ginving BR too soon as some discussions get picked up by newbies and get some frequent responses after not being responded too right away.

It depends on the discussion. If we are looking for some solution to rectify the problems in our computer, we may get the response so that our problems can be solved immediately and no more response is need beyond this. In such situation, I will mark the first response which helped my issue to get resolved as best response. On the other hand, if our discussion is a general one seeing the advice for some common issue, we may wait for about a month. If we wait further, then there are possibilities for us and to the members who responded to our discussion to forget the issue.

i don't really set myself a time table of sorts. when i read a response that was really insightful or contributes a lot to the discussion, i mark it best response. but it is important that you closely evaluate the response to ensure that it is worth being tagged as so.

I always try and get bacdk to everyone that responds with excellent answers..i think its just rude not to..lol..i mena they picked mine out of everyones..and ialways wait at oeast a few weeks..because theer have been so many times i wish to give best response to soemoen else a week later.thats hwy i wait so long..and i alwayss rate every one a plus when they respond back to me..unless its just a lame short 3 word answer..have a good one!

Hi, I am a new mylotter. I am not familar with those potential rules. I always responded to those comments on my discussion and not rate them, not less chose the best response. Should i rate everyone response? should I selected one response as the BR? What's the meaning of those actions? Thanks, happy mylotting!
