Is it Just to execute Saddam after a Kangaroo Trial? rather is it justified to hang any head of the state of actions committed during their tenure??
All governments in the world resorts to judicial execution, so did Iraq , It was not saddam who presided their trial the case was tried by the then judicial officers according to the law prevailing at that time. Exactly like we have our execution system , in India.
What is the authenticity of this trial? Its Bigger kangaroo court than the one that tried the dujjail case. Here the 5 judges were changed out of 7 judge bench, including the Chief justice who had cited political interference amongst many reasons for his quitting, the Chief defence lawyer was murdered within days of opening of the circus trial, Ramsay Clerk, The Ex Attorney genneral of USA (attorney to the government of USA gives legal opinion to the president)defended Saddam and was thrown out of court repeteadly and he emphatically stressed that the trial was UNJUST and BIASED. The results were foredrawn.
Its not i am for saddam's autrocity but to rule a country that to so much dived among sects he had to be ruthless in dealing out guys trying to destabilize the peace. Its what we are doing in Kashmir, Russian in Chechnia, America in Iraq, Iran, Srilanka in northern srilanka, Now do we really beleive them to be doing something criminal?/
Can we hang them if by turn of events they stand defeated????
We should allow the international court of justice to Judge his case... That would be somewhat impartial...
What do you say guys?
