Hi,
I am an old facebooker. But i am active for a long time, as i have no friends on facebook. So could mylotters give me some sincere suggestions on how to make new friends, communicate with each other, share our interesting, etc. Maybe the problem is too big to answered. Just try to give your personal opinion. That's ok. Look forward to your suggestion. Thanks!

Hi, I too am on facebook, maybe you can look for me there :)
Now, the first thing you have to do is invite your friends/family to join facebook by sending them an email, there is a link there where there is a pre-done email and you just have to input your friends email addresses.
Also facebook gives you the option to access your email accounts from yahoo, gmail and the likes so that you can see if any of the people in your address book is already a member of facebook and you can proceed to invite them to be your friend.
Another is that there are a lot of games around the facebook page, like sorority life, mafia wars, farmville and the likes where you can find users, message them if you feel you'd like to be friends with them and ask them to add you as a friend, me personally I met a lot of friends via the sorority life page.
Well those are the steps I think to pile up friends on facebook. Good Luck :)

Join some groups that you like. Search them in Facebook. Try to post conversation, and if things are ok, add those who correspond with you as friends. Or just try adding and then be friends. That's what some of us do.

To be quit honest I always believed facebook to be more of a website to connect with friends you already know. I would suggest myspace more for meeting new friends. I can honestly say that the over 200 friends I do have on facebook- I know every one of them personally, while on my myspace page...more than half of them I have made friends with through myspace ;)

I really don't have any suggestions for you at all, and i wish that i did. Most of my friends on facebook are all people that i know and have grown up with and i have lived in the same city and state for my entire life and have grown up with a lot of people from school. People that send me a request and i don't know them i usually don't accept them as i find it strange to accept a friend request from someone you don't know and it is a little creepy to me.

I joined an add me group that is in the group section on facebook by accident one night and i ended up with loads of people adding me also you can add them.In the add me groups they are people from all over the world so there is a huge choice of people to choose from all ages as well.Happy Mylotting.
