It is big big blow to the England cricket team as Kevin Pitersen has been ruled out of the remaining part of the ongoing Ashes owing to injury. England team which is leading at the present moment and is looking to win the Ashes now have to overcome from this shocker. As far Australia is concerned this is a huge sigh of relief for them as this will provide some kind of a chance to salvage their already lost pride in the remaining matches. It is also not clear whether Flintoff will be able to overcome from his injury by the start of the next test match.

Teams should learn from Australia, the way they train up their teams. When Hayden, Gichrist,Langer, Mc Grath and Warne retired from international cricket everyone said Aussies are out as No 1 team in test cricket. But look how new players like North,Siddle,Huges,Hilfensus and Staurt Clarke are blossing for Australia. This is what is missing with England team from very long time and they rely to much on Pieterson, Strauss, Collingwood and Flintoff always. So, they will always face big challenge while playing against the good teams. I am sorry to say that English County is not helping England at all instead it is giving experiences to nations like Sri Lanka,South Africa,India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia. Unless EBA takes some good steps England cricket will slum down and will never win a World Cup.

You are right. KP has been ruled out due to his Achiles prolem and is not in the best of shapes. This time around though the problem has got the better of him and he has been forced to sit out. And this is not the best of the news for the Englishmen who are trying to regain the Ashes. Freddie has become too ambicious to do that as this is his final Test series. But whatever the absense of KP is surely going to hurt the Englishmen as KP is quite a charismatic batsmen who has the ability to take the game away from the opposition on his day. Let's hope that England hold on to their lead and when KP comes back again, they are still in the leading position.

I just read it somewhere that he is out for the rest of the Ashes. I think he had surgery yesterday. Its a big blow for England and a big loss for the Ashes in general, It will be vey hard to replace a good player like him. Ian Bell now has a big task on his hand, and that too against the Aussies. Australia will be cheering, no doubt. Flintoff should be fit for the next test, he himself has said this. Hes got another week to recover.
