A mouse got me late for work!

Hello friends,
Yesterday morning started with all unusual incidents. Me with my brother got ready for work and as soon as we sat in our car we found a punjent smell coming from it.
Initially we ignored it but as it started rainiing outside, we had to shut the windows and got the AC on, and goodness me I havent smelled anything like that before! We had to stop the car and check in the bonnet and we found a DEAD RAT inside the car 
. I wonder how he got iniside the car bonnet and how he died? Only the post mortem report can give the correct answer 
We had to give our car for cleaning immediately, and I got delayed for work by an hour or so. So friends did you ever got late for work due to any such reasons? Please share

I do not have to go anywhere to work. I work at home on my computer. Fortunately, there are no rats where I live.

Wow, that's quite an interesting way to start the day! I sure hope your work understood about that. I probably would've done the same thing because that's kind of nasty (and I'm sure the smell must've been awful!). I've got no idea how it would've gotten in, either, but at least you found it and had it taken care of! Hopefully you won't have any fun little surprises like that anymore...lol.
