This is a question some would think is supid. I personally think that we need to ask ourselves this alot. I was sitting in the living room the other night and my 10- year old daughter asked me a question. She said mommy why do we need to set goals for ourselves? Why do we need to work on getting those goals done? I told her it is to better ourselves in our lives. So if this was you what would you have said? What is your point of view on it? This is where you can express how you feel and I will not take it as complaining nor as whinning either. I want to see both sides to this.

Hey, Well I think we should set goals mainly so we can get motivated. If we have no goals, then we would have absolutely no motivation at all. I know this from personal experience, back in my school days I had no goals and wasn't motivated. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Goals serve as guidelines and it becomes a purpose of why we are living. It may sound as a cliche but you sometimes have to ask why are we here? What are we here for? That is where the goals would come it. It also serves as an inspiration since it will serve as a barometer of our success in life. Some people have a timeline as to when they expect such thing to happen which I believe is good since it will help you to strive to make it happen.

I set goals because these serve as my guide. In a journey, one would not want to pursue if he knows he has no destination to reach at the end,, or else his journey would hold no meaning a ll. My goals inspire me and give meaning to my efforts. I think if we don't have goals, our life becomes disorganized. Also, our goals allow us to assess our strengths and weaknesses. Thank you. Happy mylotting!
