It can be done. Things can be accomplished if you really want it. I tried to go last year but my financial assistance didn't go through in time. I only have one child but I am going to school when I can. My granma took care of four kids all under ten and went to school for nursing. For me my plan is this. I work part time in the mornings and lunch hours. I then pick my son up and spend time with him. I classes would start around five so I would have the sitter of choice pick him up then go to a hour or two of class. Then return home in time to spend bed time with my son. I have it planned out where I will be able to go just timing is everything.

Who cares if you have kids, if you want to go to school then you can. That being said, a RN program is very demanding not only in time that you are actually in class but also in time that will have to be spent doing homework and studying. Most schools have waiting lists for their RN programs and so you need to look into it. Also, many schools insist that you complete the program in the 2 years they have the schedual set up for. So it is a big commitment. I personaly would either have the 4th child then start the program or finish the program and then have the child. You are also going to need to look into child care for your kids while you are in school and even for some of you at home time. Being a nurse is a rewarding job, but going to school is not to be taken lightly. It is hard and you will need the suport of your family.

I know a lady that has three sons aged 7, 5 and 2 plus a daughter of 7 months old. She is 27 years old. In 2008 she completed her degree. She found her pregnancy that was from 2006 to 2007 demanding. She went on to have her baby girl. I think she is a really hardworking and friendly sort of person. The lady did an access course to get on to her degree course. These days many mature students go to university and they do really well. Some of them are parents and it can be possible for them to do well if they have the energy. I was in my mid twenties when I did my degree. I was married to an Australian man. My son was just a toddler when I began my course at university. I studied education and English. I gained qualified teacher status. It was lovely to start my teaching career. Now in my thirties I have another two children. My older son is 14 years old, my younger son is 2 and my daughter is almost 4 weeks old. Good luck with your nursing studies and having another baby.

I am a new mother of three. Although I am not going to school right now (have a little over a year left) I plan on going back. My sister in law has four kids under the age of 9 and she has done her bachelors degree through online study. I would say that if you want another kid than go for it. You will always put what you deem most important in to the picture.
