more responses for scrap discussions

hi mylot friends, i have observed that for the last 3 months,i found that there are very less responses for good discussions and more responses for waste/scrap discussions,why these people are doing like this,most of the mylot friends are running behind the money and money earning sites,can any body explain why ?
